Georgia O'Keeffe and the unknown

Georgia O'Keeffe (1887-1986) was an American artist best known for painting nature and flowers. Wikipedia says,
"[O'Keeffe] was known for her paintings of enlarged flowers, New York skyscrapers and New Mexico landscapes." (Wikipedia: Georgia O'Keeffe, 8.18.21 UTC 20:48)
The rest of this post is some quests from O'Keeffe.

Unknown

"Making your unknown known is the important thing - and keeping the unknown always beyond you - catching - crystallizing your simpler clearer vision of life - only to see it turn stale compared to what you vaguely feel ahead  - that you must always keep working to grasp." (AZquotes.com)

"I have been thinking of what you say about form... I feel that a real living form is the natural result of the individual's effort to create the living thing out of the adventure of his spirit into the unknown... and from that experience comes desire to make the unknown known." (Letter to Sherwood Anderson, 1923)

Flowers

"When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it's your world for the moment. I want to give that world to someone else. Most people in the city rush around so, they have no time to look at a flower. I want them to see it whether they want to or not." (AZquotes.com)
