  • 1905: Becomes lecturer at Zurich University
  • 1906: Publishes Diagnostic Association Studies
  • 1908: Becomes editor of Yearbook for Psychoanalytical and Psychopathological Research
  • 1912: Publishes Psychology of the Unconscious
  • 1921: Publishes Psychological Types
  • 1933: Publishes Modern Man in Search of  a Soul
  • 1943: Temporarily works as professor at University of Berlin
  • 1944: Publishes Psychology and Alchemy
  • 1961: Died at age 85 in Kusnacht, Switzerland
  • 1964: Man and His Symbols is published posthumously
