Martin Buber (1878-1965) was an Austrian-Israeli philosopher best known for his analysis of the I-Thou relationship. Wikipedia says,
"Buber's evocative, sometimes poetic, writing style marked the major themes in his work: the retelling of Hasidic and Chinese tales, Biblical commentary and metaphysical dialogue." (Wikipedia: Martin Buber, 8.18.21 UTC 19:32)
