- 1915: Publishes papers on general relativity
- 1919: General relativity proved by Arthur Eddington
- 1935: Co-authors paper on quantum entanglement (EPR paradox)
- 1940: Becomes an American citizen
- 1940: Becomes professor at Princeton University
- 1949: Publishes article in support of socialism
- 1950: Describes his unified field theory in Scientific American
- 1955: Died at age 76 in Princeton, New Jersey
